Good morning! As of late I have not been strolling shops much. I am trying to use up all half full bottles lying around. Until I started going through them, I didn’t realise there was so many. On the bright side, I get to remember why I bought certain stuff or why it stayed half full.
Currently I am all about face masks. I used to be quite lazy about them. Once a week. Once in two weeks. Lately, though, I have been using one at least twice a week. My face thanks me, but resources ran out quick. Not that I am complaining. Shopping for face masks might be quite entertaining. Some of them have quite entertaining packaging.
I picked up few Montagne Jaunesse face masks. The one that intrigued me the most was the Dead Sea Mud Spa Clay Mask. The whole idea of sheet mud mask seemed quite convenient. And it was convenient and way less messy. It needs some getting used to, as you remove it basically still wet and keep wondering if that’s how it should be or you removed it too quickly.
The Tea Tree and Spearmint one was a disappointment. It works and your skin looks brighter and clearer afterwards, but those 5 minutes you had to keep it on was slowest ever. It feels cooling, stinging and quite uncomfortable. I imagine this is how getting chemical burn feels. It doesn’t give you one, but is great at simulating the feel.
That leaves us with the best – Hot Chocolate one. The smell is divine. Might get you craving chocolate, but we might indulge sometimes.
The last face mask I picked up is Uriage Hyséac Exfoliating Mask. This one actually doubles up as a face mask and exfoliator. It’s full of teeny-tiny beads that aren’t overly harsh, but you certainly feel them. As I was thinking of picking up manual exfoliator, I figured I’ll give this a go.
Make up wise, nothing caught my eye in the drugstore as of late. I picked up two Rimmel Brow This Way Eyebrow Gels. There is always a place for a clear one. Though I think I should have picked the other one a shade lighter. I have to say, they are not horrible, but not great either.
Rimmel Lasting Finish Colour Rush Intense Colour Balm in Drive Me Nude went home with me also. It’s a nice nude pink. I was looking for something comfortable and non drying and with some colour for my lips as weather gets colder. We’ll see how that goes.
What face masks are you using? What’s your favourite one? Anything caught your eyes in a drugstore lately?
