I wash my hair daily. There. As damaging as it sounds, I can’t do it any other way. It is recommended to prolong time between washes for as long as possible, but that certainly doesn’t work in every situation. In the middle of October I started working in surgery unit. That means assisting surgeon during operations and often some amount of cauterization is used. Trust me, that stinks. And my hair likes to soak all that in. Basically, when the day ends, my hair smells like burned flesh.
It seemed that awful hair days are forthcoming. Washing your hair daily and expecting them to stay in a good state is rather silly. This is where the thought came to try repairing hair products. As I already have been using Ogx Repairing Awapuhi Ginger Instant Recovery Mask (more here – link) and it had made a difference, I bought shampoo and conditioner from the same line (they have changed they name to Ogx Reviving Awapuhi Ginger; my conditioner still in an old packaging).
All the raves about this brand were actually true. It is an amazing budget buy. My hair still shiny, non dry or coarse. This whole range have really came through in a time of need. I have one more week to go for my hair nightmare to end, but I got it covered.
