An acid toner has been a staple in my skincare routine from almost a year now. From the day I tried my first one I haven’t used anything else.
My newest skincare addition, NeoStrata Oily Skin Solution, was actually a random purchase since Noreva Exfoliac Lotion (more here – link) was out of stock. It’s a toner designed for those with an oily, acne-prone skin. It contains 8% glycolic acid to help clear clogged pores and remove surface oil and exfoliate your skin. And I am currently obsessed.
As of now my skin is so mush smoother, way less acne is happening (hormonal breakouts still there…) and it faded slight discolourations from old breakouts and chicken pox I had during Christmas. I use it every evening after I wash my face. It does tingle a little upon application, especially if you have some dry patches, but I guess all exfoliating toners do that.
