The first time I heard about NUXE Reve de Miel lip balm was two years ago. My lips always are at they worst during winter and I looked at this as a possible solution, but £9.50 price tag kept me from trying it out. But everyone can’t be wrong when singing praises to it?
I really like the frosted glass packaging it comes in as it actually looks nice on a bedside table. The scent on the other hand is not that great. I was a little on a fence because of it, but since it’s not overwhelming I can deal with it.
The texture is like nothing else I tried before. It feels kind of waxy so at first I didn’t like it at all. Though it appeared I have been using way too much product than I actually need. You only need a teeny tiny amount of it and it sinks into your lips almost instantly. I do use a little bit more of it before bed time and when I wake up there is still some of it on my lips.
But does it work? YES! If you have dry, chapped lips it will repair, nourish, soothe and hydrate your lips. It wasn’t as noticeable during the warmer months, but it saved my lips in the winter. Goodbye annoyingly dry lips.
