EMPTIES #6

I am very good at finishing stuff up as of late. Just last month I posted bunch of empties and here we are again. You might have noticed that it’s only skincare, haircare and alike, since I decided to separate all of the make up bits and make separate post out of them. It will take a while, as finishing up a make up product is an event by itself. Either way, lets get back to the things I have to show so far.

OGX Thick & Full Biotin & Collagen Shampoo and Conditioner

I have a plan to try out as much products from this line as I can get my hands on. So far I tried out 5 different shampoos and conditioners from this brand. And loved all of them. My plan to find out the one that I would like the most kind of failed. Any way, this is a great haircare duo. My hair felt soft and full. Can’t say it gave much of a volume, but my hair certainly weren’t flat. Just like everything else from OGX, they smell amazing too.

The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil

I finally have finished this one. It feels like I had it for ages. It is a great budget friendly cleansing oil. I thing it’s even better then the pricier ones. I haven’t tried much of those, but so far this one is my favourite.

Noreva Actipur Dermo-Cleansing Foam (more here – link)

A must have cleanser for a acne prone skin. This combined with Noreva Anti-Inperfections Intensive Treatment got rid of all my breakouts within a week. A week! I haven’t repurchased it as I am trying to finish of some cleansers I have stashed, but it certainly is going to happen.

NeoStrata Oily Skin Solution (more here – link)

One more great acid toner is gone. This one contained 8% glycolic acid that helped to clear pores and remove excess oil and sebum. It is on my may buy again list, but I want to try out some other offerings.

Sebamed Clear Face Care Gel

This is one product I wasn’t impressed with. I can’t say it actually did anything. It did feel nice and cooling on the skin and added a little bit of moisture, but that is it.

Eau Thermale Avène TriAcnéal Treatment Cream

It is one of the products that made a dramatical difference in my skin. You might have noticed it in my How I Got Rid of My Hormonal Breakouts post.

Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II (more here – link)

I was sad to see this one go. I thing it lasted my for half a year. That was actually longer than I expected and makes it a great value for the money (though it doesn’t seem like it when you are paying for it…). It is an amazing product and made a difference to my skin, so I certainly will repurchase it.

Garnier Skin Naturals Pure Active Spot Fighting 24hr Moisturiser

I picked this up because I forgot my moisturiser back home and needed something for the time being. Surprisingly, it was actually quite nice. I used it mostly in the morning to add some moisture to my face without it getting greasy. It felt very nice and cooling on the skin. I am not sure if it does anything beyond adding some moisture back, but for the time I was using it, I had no major breakouts.
