A few days ago I have been looking through my stash (also known as a huge unorganised pile of stuff) to pick things to go to my travel bag and noticed that between piles of things I like there are few that I love and keep reaching for every day. I wanted to share those few beauty products I have been using non-stop.
Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado: actually I am almost all out of it. It’s amazing for extremely dry under eyes. It helped me get rid that uncomfortable tightness I usually get during the afternoon. My make up applies way better now and lasts presentable longer. Don’t be scared of a slightly green colour. It doesn’t show up on your skin.
The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5: I talked about it in my post about some of the ordinary products. It works great in putting moisture back into my skin. It became a staple in my skincare routine.
Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution in Pillow Talk: I love the colour and texture of it! I couldn’t stand matte lipsticks as they would dry out my lips and that is not a good look on anybody. Trust me. I do not know how she did it, but Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks are not drying, does not settle in the lines and last for a long time.
Illamasqua Hydra Veil: My combination skin with dry cheeks means my foundation tends to catch on dry spots there. I tried extra layers of moisturiser and so on to try to make my make up look good, but nothing worked. Until I got my hand on Illamasqua primer sample. It adds that extra moisture that keeps my makeup looking fresh all day. I like it that much, that I started applying it all over my face. It even makes my make up last longer in my T-zone! I have full-sized it as you can see.
Beauty Bakerie Flour Setting Powder: I did a separate post about this powder. It’s definitely worth trying out. You just might fall in love with it as I did. Quick tip: poke some holes in a sticker covering them, DO NOT remove it unless you want powder everywhere. Lesson learned the hard way…
