I never thought I would say this, but my oily days are over. I am not even joking. I have tried huge amount of powders that claim to keep you oil free, and some of them do for a few hours or so, but not one of them performed to the same extent as Beauty Bakerie Flour Setting Powder in Translucent did. I might as well dub it as the best powder ever.
I have tested it in extreme conditions aka heat at 32°C and humid. I have run around for an hour and a half sweating but my make up didn’t budge. It only seemed a little bit dewier. It looked only slightly shinier while I was melting and sweating from everywhere possible (yes, attractive, isn’t it?), but my make up didn’t budge a bit. All of my face make up stayed looking presentable for over 12 hours. If that doesn’t convince you that Beauty Bakerie milled some fairy dust in it, I don’t know what will.
It became a staple in my make up routine. Every time it makes everything look flawless. It’s so finely milled (every time I move it a bit, small clouds of powder rise into the air) that you can’t see any trace of it on your skin. I am considering buying a backup (the package contains 21g of products and I don’t think it will run out soon, but…just in case).
They do have three more shades: yellow to reduce redness and warm up your complection, pink to brighten your complection and double up as a blush (do we set our make up with a blush now? all I can thing about is a bright pink blush all over the face…) and brown that can double up as a bronzer and a setting powder for a deeper skin tones. I highly recommend trying it out.
