As far as lipstick goes, my preferences change with every blue moon. Sometimes it’s fully matte long lasting liquid lipsticks, sometimes I have no need or want to deal with any of it and a slightly tinted lip balm is all I use. Lately, I have noticed I have been switching among a small group if lippies. It might have something to do with having to go to work
MAC Patisserie. It’s like a perfect no effort nude, but with a little extra. I am ashamed to admit, but it took me over a week to realise that it contains glitter. Somehow it slipped right through my eye. Either way, it makes a perfect my lips but better, easy to apply and touch up (no mirror needed!) shade to put into your make up bag.
Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Pillow Talk. It’s hard to tell if it’s the shade, formula or the packaging that makes it so perfect. It’s easy to wear slightly pinky nude. Instead of being a full-on matte with all of the drying, chapping, wrinkly lips consequences it manages to balance perfectly between the long-lasting matte and a moisture to avoid all the negatives. Let’s not forget the packaging. Lovely, isn’t it?

MAC Hug me. This is life. I can be wearing pyjamas with a
MAC Modesty. I feel like it is a slightly darker and pinkier sister of Hug Me shade. When I wear this one I feel way more put together. I don’t know what about this shade makes me feel like I have to be on point to wear this, but it does. Not like it’s a bad thing. Every once in a while it feels good to put a little extra in yourself.
Shiseido Perfect Rouge in Pink Mesa. It’s one of my oldest lipsticks (not this particular one, I had repurchased since then, I mean gross). I loved the neutral nude colour when I first bought it and I still do since this day. On the lips it feels more like a lip balm and staying power is almost non-existent, but then, you lose some, you win some.
What lipsticks have you been loving? Any on rotation? Or autumn recommendations?
