EMPTIES #5

I have been trying to finish as much of half full bottles as I could. Some of these have been empty for months (alright, only two of them…). If I manage keep it up, maybe another empties post will come soon. Lets hope so. Empty space on the shelves is nice.

Murad Clarifying Wipes for Blemish Prone Skin

I am not a big fan of facial wipes. I never feel clean enough after using one. Sure it removes make up and cleans your skin somewhat. I mainly used these as a touch ups during the days I have not been wearing make up. It’s quite refreshing to wipe all the grime of your face. I am not sure if they were any help with controlling blemishes, but they still were nice.

Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Facial Wash

I heard lots of people loving it so I thought to give it a go. It was especially nice in the mornings. Sometimes I need an extra help to wake up. Grapefruit smells so energising! Though I do not think I will repurchase this one. While it was nice, I am teeny tiny bit obsessed with cleansers, so there’s always something I am waiting to try out next.

Neutrogena Intense Hydration Shower Gel

It doesn’t have the most amazing smell (or any whatsoever),but it packs some serious moisture. My skin tends to get quite dry during the winter months, but while using this my skin stayed hydrated without extra body lotion (good news for the laziness).

Noreva Exfoliac Toner (more here – link)

It was the first acid toner I have tried. And the reason I fallen in love with them. It made my skin softer and cleaner.

L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Eye Cream

It was a recommendation from a friend. It’s a great drugstore eye cream. When I was using it my undereyes weren’t as dry. Definitely something worth checking out if you are in need of a good eye cream.

Dove Regenerating Nourishment Hand Cream

I love the smell of it. It smells relaxing and I feel it’s very suitable for the evenings. I do not have particularly dry hands, but they tend to get dry and uncomfortable in the evenings. Hence the hand cream on my night stand.

Molton Brown Eucalyptus Body Wash

This sample came from lookfantastic.com beauty box. I loved it. The smell is energizing and makes me feel extra clean. It didn’t dry out my skin and a little of it goes a long way. Though I am  not sure if I would pay £18 for it…

Lee Stafford Original Dry Shampoo

This was actually the first dry shampoo that I tried. Not this one exactly, but the brand. I loved it then and when I ran out, I made a nostalgic purchase. It’s still a great product, it gives you volume, texture and sucks up grease from ruts. The only thing I do not like about it is the smell. I never paid attention to it before, but now it smells like baby powder. Lots of it. Not a fan… I think I’ll stick to Batiste from now on.
