Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium EDT

It is raining non-stop. The only thing that changes is a wind as it rattles my windows. As I stay wrapped inside my thick woollen blanket denying the existence of the outside world I continue browsing perfume recommendations and making a very long shopping list.

I have become obsessed with perfumes over the last few years. I try to limit myself and stop from adding more to my collection, but I do fail from time to time… (read: at least once in two months…).

My latest addition is Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium Eau de Toilette. I smelled it in the store and it was meant to be.

The scent couldn’t be more perfect for the autumn. It’s warm, deep and mysterious, whilst still remaining fresh and not sickly sweet. At first, it hits you with mandarin orange and citrus notes but soon it settles into a warming and comforting woody and coffee notes.

It reminds me of a warm blanket wrapped all around and a fragrant cup of tea. It is nice and comforting as you don your coat and umbrella for another trek outside. A little bit of that warmth comfort to take on a go with you. Whenever I smell it, it gets warmer for a bit. But I still can’t wait to get back under my blanket.

I urge you to take a moment to try it out and smell this intoxicating scent.
