LOVED IN OCTOBER

Apparently we have skipped September monthly favourites. Oops. It feels like September and half of October just flew without me noticing it. On the bright side, we are back on track (or I just had too much sugar).

This month I practically gave up on make up. It sounds weir and wrong to even type it. I actually have an excuse for that. I started working at the surgery unit at the start of the month. I bothered putting on make up only for the first two days and the thought – sod it. It’s friggin worm in the operating theater, you wear face mask which constantly touching your face… After few hours your face looks like a mess. All of the make up melts of and all you have left is cakey patches. Trust me, not pretty. On the other hand, eye make up looks good no matter what.

I guess it’s not surprising that my make up routine for the month consisted of mascara and lip gloss. I have been using Lóreal Paris Million Lashes So Couture (more here- link) to give some volume and length. And now it had been tested under extreme conditions: stays on in warm and humid environment, while having a runny eyes. For the lips I kept using only Maybelline Colour Sensational Lipgloss in Electric Orange and Cashmere Rose. It feels a lot like lip balm on the lips and colour wears down without leaving any awkward lines.

You might wonder why I put foundation in monthly favourites if I haven’t been wearing any for most part of the month. Well, when I was wearing any, it was Clarins Ever Matte – Skin Balancing Foundation (more here – link). It feels beautiful, looks beautiful, is beautiful. I forgot how much I loved it few months back.

Estée Lauder Advance Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II (more here – link) is worth mentioning as a product that made me more comfortable in my skin to go barefaced. It’s not that I always wear make up, but when I plan on spending lots of time with people, I feel more self conscious. But, as I started using Estée Lauder serum, my skin looks better and light dusting of powder is usually enough to look presentable.

The last one is my newest obsession. No day without Lanvin Eclat d’Arpege (more here – link). The speed I go through it, I might need a new bottle soon. That’s OK though, it’s worth it.

What have you been loving in October?
