DISCOVERIES OF 2014

I feel like the the whole year flew by before I even noticed. I wish time would slow down sometimes. At least it was a productive year, as a line up of great products I have discovered this year shows.

The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil

I am almost out of this one. No wonder as I use it daily. So far it’s my favourite cleansing oil.

Noreva Exfoliac Lotion (more here – link)

This was my second venture into acid toners. And more satisfying one. It did wonders for my skin without drying it out. It felt cleaner, brighter and healthier. Certainly something worth trying out if you can get your hands on it.

Estée Lauder Advance Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II (more here – link)

As of now, I am half way through the bottle. And dreading the day when I’ll be all out. It’s fairly expensive, but worth every penny. Few nights with this and it gets my skin out of it’s worst state. The fact that it got my skin back to normal after a week of chicken pox with no skincare whatsoever and it only took it two nights, is amazing.

Life Flo Health Pure Rosehip Seed Oil (more here – link)

A great budget friendly version of a rose hip oil. And just as good as more expensive ones. I’m really glad I found this.

The Body Shop Aloe Lip Treatment (more here – link)

I’d give it the title of the best lip balm/treatment there is. I’m sure there are some great things in the highstreet, but it’s the best on the budget lip balm I have came across. I have dry lips on their own, but when the winter comes, things get serious. So far, it’s the only lip balm that calms things down and gives some moisture back.

Clarins Ever Matte Skin Balancing Foundation (more here –link)

A great medium coverage foundation that doesn’t feel heavy on the skin. This was my most used foundation during the year. It’s great at controlling shine and stays put throughout the day.

Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream

One more great foundation. It gives you medium coverage and looks like skin. One more amazing product from Bourjois.

Bourjois Healthy Balance Powder (more here –link)

Bourjois makes the best base products. This soft, fine powder is certainly worth trying. Especially if you looking for a great touch up powder.

Maybelline Color Sensational High Shine Lip Gloss (more here –link)

It is probably the one make up product I was reaching for the most. It’s not sticky, oily or in any way uncomfortable on the lips. More like a lip balm. Just better.

NYX Butter Gloss (more here – link)

The hype died out, but these are still great glosses. And they smell brilliant.

Lanvin Eclat d’Arpege (more here –link)

If you love fresh scents, you should definitely try this one out.

Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler (more here –link)

I never thought I will ever get into using eyelash curlers, but this one makes it so easy.

Clarisonic Mia 2 Sonic Skin Cleansing System (more here –link)

This did wonders for my skin. If only it’s battery was more reliable…

Beauty Blender

A great lazy girls tool to fast make up application.
