Empties | products I have used up

Have you looked through your shelves, drawers and boxes and found them filled with products you used once, halfway and just never finished? Mine are overflowing with bottles and tubes I have never managed to finish.

One of my New Year resolutions was to either use up as many products as I can or throw out the ones I can’t. Maybe then I will have some order in my life. A girl can hope.

Maybelline Total Temptation Volume Mascara. I have finished my second tube of it. Still in love with it, but I want to try out something new. I just got bored of it. It’s still a great one, but maybe there is a better one I know nothing about. But it’s still on mine “if everything fails, buy this one” list.

Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base. This stuff is amazing. I have been using this one for over half a year. Mind you, this is a small travel sized one and it lasted me that long. It makes my skin look healthy and even. It was a great help during colder weather. My face doesn’t get as bad as it would previously when I spend a long time outside. The only question is – full or travel size?

BIODERMA Sensibio H2O Make up Removing Micelle Solution. There isn’t a day, when I don’t have one around. There might be cheaper ones, but I still feel like this one is the best. I have tried other brand versions and it’s just not the same. Either it’s too drying or too oily… So, I do have a new one on a go already. I like to easily wipe all my make up once I get home from work. And this helps me do it without excessive rubbing or discomfort.

Cover FX Perfect Setting Powder in Light. I don’t think I have ever finished a loose powder before. Of course, this one is travel sized, but still. I have enjoyed using it (duh…) as it melts right into my foundation and helps it to stick around. Considering my skins ability to produce oils at a moments notice, it was nicely keeping my skin matte. I don’t know how, but it makes my foundation look twice as good. Somehow they combine together and makes my skin look flawless.

The Body Shop Pink Grapefruit shower gel. I love the smell of this one. It is so refreshing and helps me to wake up in the mornings. It lasts for a very long time as you need a small drop of it. I have been using it since I got it at my the Body shop haul. Usually I ran out of shower gel in forthnight or two. I am eyeing their current selection and can’t decide which scent I want… (I am open to suggestions)

Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel. One time this was everywhere. That is the reason I picked it up. With so much people loving it, it just had to be great. Sadly, at first I didn’t get on with it. It was just to heavy for my skin. In retrospect, it might not have been what my skin needed at a time. Once I started using it again in the winter, it was a perfection everyone raved about. Moisturising, nourishing and calming after freezing my face off outside.

Pai Perfect Balance Blemish Serum. I am waving goodbye to a great serum for troubled skin. As I said previously, I loved it. My skin did too. It cleared out all of my breakouts and my skin stays clear weeks after I stopped using it. Worth every penny.

That is all for now. I am trying to finish as much of my stacked products so there might be a volume 2 coming out soon. It feels nice cleaning out the shelves.
