Everyday makeup routine

Today I wanted to share my makeup routine. For the last three months, it consisted of basically the same products every day. I might change one blush or lipstick for another, but in the end I always these same products.

I have been using IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ cream non stop since I got it. I think I am more than halfway through the tube and I seriously need to think of getting a backup. The selling point is it having amazing coverage. That is no secret for anyone, but I did not expect it to last throughout the day without wearing off. No matter how many times I blot throughout the day, in the evening it’s still there. I love that it contains sunscreen too. I do wear a normal sunscreen underneath it, but having an ability to have two layers if it, makes me and my rosacea so much happier.

It also made me embrace the glowing skin look. Previously I would use only matte products and a ridiculous amount of powder to keep shine at bay, but with this and a little bit of Beauty Bakerie Flour Setting Powder in Oat flour on my T-zone, it just works. No thick layers of powder or baking, just a little bit of it to keep it from sliding around.

I dusted out my Hourglass powders. I have not used them for a long time and completely forgot how nice they are. I have been dipping in a Diffused Light and Luminous Bronze Light for a little bit of brightening around the eyes and a soft bronze for contours of my face. No an extreme highlighting or carving of contours of my face, but softly blended colours. It makes it look perfect for spring (and going to work).

Whilst I enjoy Hourglass blushes, but ever since I got my Charlotte Tilbury blush in Pillow Talk I have been in love. It so soft and perfect that I can’t even think about using anything else. It is a little glittery, but when blended into the skin it just looks perfect. I have no words for it.

Whilst highlight is not something I am into, I do enjoy adding a little bit if of Fenty Hu$tla Baby highlighter on my cheekbones. There’s something about it that makes me want to keep looking at it. Most of the time I apply highlighter only because I opened it to just have a peek. Weird, I know.

You might have noticed my old trusty NYX Micro Brow Pencil. I went probably through more than ten of these. They are just so easy to use and do not have a ridiculous price tag on them.

As I have finished my by Terry mascara and have pulled out Clinique High Impact mascara mini. It’s more volumizing formula than by Terry but still separates my lashes enough for me to like it. I am still not sure if I like it enough to repurchase.

To finish it all off and protect my lips from cold spring winds I have my trusty Fenty Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer with me. Too bad it’s not available where I live and I can’t find any store that ships it here. I really want to try out more from the brand.

What is in your everyday makeup bag? Any recommendations?
